TODAY IN EGYPT

Repoter: Evan Chester

Brick,NJ-Pharoh has changed his mind yet again on whether or not the Jews can leave Egypt, which means sorrow for all of us, the egyptians. As Moses said, another plague has erupted on us, as you probably already know. This one is more painful than the rest, boils. Hopefully, Pharoh will come to his senses and release the Jews.

News Reporter: Rachel Dispoto
G-d told Moses to tell the Pharoh to let all the Jewish people free or G-d will turn all the water to blood. If a Jew and an Egyptian were drinking from the same cup, the Jew drank water while for the Egyptian it turned to blood. The only way the Egyptians were able to get water was if they bought it from a Jew.

Scene 4 - Moshe at the burning bush

News Reporter : Madison Stopera
Today I saw an amazing sight! A burning bush with no damage to its leaves or branches! G-d's voice was heard through the bush and G-d commanded Moshe to take the Jews out of Egypt and end all their suffering. Moshe went to Pharoh and said "Let my people go!" but Pharoh said, "No! Work the Jews harder!"

Scene 3 - Moshe is found by Batya in the Nile River.

News Reporter : Dylan Regan
One day, Pharaoh decided to throw all of the baby boys in the Nile River. Moshe's mom put Moshe in a basket in the river. Pharaoh's daughter then found Moshe. She took care of him. He had survived the dangerous river! Since he survived the Jews were saved! If he hadn't survived or been found the Jews wouldn't be free.
He is know known everywhere and all the Jews are very thankful. Moshe became part of history. I'm very proud. Moshe was G-d's messenger in bringing about the plagues, but that's another story.

Scene 2 - Stargazer and Pharoh

News Reporter : Emily Chester
Last night, Pharaoh had his stargazer look outside into the sky for him. When the stargazer looked out, he reported to have seen a picture of a Jewish baby boy in the sky. The stargazer said that one day, this baby boy was going to put an end to Pharaoh. Pharaoh, frightened by the thought of this, decreed that all newborn Jewish baby boys were to be thrown into the Nile River to drown.

Scene 1 - Slavery

TODAY IN EGYPT

THE JEWS GET TO WORK
News Reporter : Evan Chester
Yesterday the Jews were set to a new task because of a brilliant order that Pharaoh decreed.
All of those who live in Egypt and are Jews are hereby decreed to work endlessly building buildings as servants of Pharaoh. This was the breakout idea of keeping Jews away from rebelling.
